Eating Fruit on Empty Stomach

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths.

It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how and  when  to eat the fruits.

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS

FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH

If you eat fruits on empty stomach,  it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.

Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit.

The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so due to the bread taken before the fruit.

In the meantime the whole meal  of bread & fruit  rots and ferments and turns to acid.

The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.

So please eat your fruits on an *empty  stomach*  or  before your meals !

You have heard people complaining :

Every time I eat watermelon I burp,  when I eat durian my stomach bloats up,  when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc.. etc..

Actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach.

The fruit mixes with the putrefying of other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat !

Greying hair, balding, nervous outburst and dark circles under the eyes all these will NOT  happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter.

If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the SECRET  of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.

When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only fresh fruit juice,  NOT  from the cans, packs  or bottles.

Don't even drink juice that has been heated up.

Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all.

You only get its taste.
Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice.

If you should drink the fresh fruit  juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it.

You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse or detoxify  your body.

Just eat fruits and drink fresh  fruit juice throughout
the 3 days.

And you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look !

Guava is also rich in fiber, which helps prevent constipation.

Papaya is rich in carotene; this is good for your eyes.

Drinking COLD water or drinks after a meal = CANCER

Can you believe this ?

For those who like to drink cold water or  cold drinks,  this article is applicable to you.

It is nice to have a cup of cold water or  cold drinks after a meal.

However, the cold water or drinks will solidify the oily stuff that you have just eaten.

It will slow down the digestion.

Once this  'sludge'  reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food.

It will line the intestine.

Very soon, this will turn into FATS and  lead  to CANCER !

It  is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

Be Healthy…….

Natural ways get rid stretch marks

People have had to deal with stretch marks since the dawn of time. Whether you go through a growth spurt, gain a few pounds (even lose a few pounds, how unfair is that?) or become pregnant, it seems like 99 percent of the world’s population has stretch marks of some kind. When your skin has used up its elasticity, you get the white, red or purple stretch marks that can leave you feeling like an abstract painting.
You don’t have to carry those stretch marks around forever, though! Once your body has reached a stopping point where your weight and height are stabilized, your stretch marks will start to fade. In most cases, unfortunately, they won’t go completely away on their own. There are surgeries that can remove stretch marks, but they can leave you in a lot of pain, both physically and financially.
Natural is the way to go to get rid of stretch marks. It will save you a lot of money, and you won’t have to put in much effort to get the silky, smooth body you’ve been after for a while. So what are the natural ways you can get rid of these unsightly lines for good and reclaim your body against the invading stretch mark army? Here are 10 simple methods you can do at home to help you out!

Apricot Mask

A lot of people buy apricot scrubs to get rid of the stretch marks on their body, but you can easily make your own mask that will have the same effect. This apricot mask doesn’t go on your face (unless you have rare facial stretch marks), but can applied anywhere else on your body. All you need is two apricots and some lukewarm water.
Take the seeds out of your apricots and crush them like ants until you get a nice solid paste, but don’t eat it! Leave the paste on your stretch marked areas for about 15 minutes, then use lukewarm water to wash it off. Apply this mask every day for one month, and those marks will be a thing of the past.

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is not only great for getting rid of sunburns and lightening your skin, but it can also remove pesky stretch marks, too. Since it contains collagen, it will help get your skin back to its original condition. You just need a leaf of aloe vera for this one.
First, get the thorns out of the leaf (you don’t want that kind of pain) and extract the gel that comes out of the leaf. Now it is time to practice some patience, as you must leave the gel on your affected skin for about two hours. Once that time has passed, you can finally wash it off. Again, try this out once a day for a month to get the maximum results.

Oils

There are all kinds of oils that will help get rid of stretch marks. Myrrh oils, geranium oils, chamomile oils, olive oils, lavender oils. You get the picture.
Lavender and chamomile are going to be your two biggest allies in the stretch mark battle. Combine them with any other oil of your choosing and apply the mix onto your stretch marks. You will want to do this 3-4 times each day until the stretch marks go away. As you can see, each of these remedies take a wee bit of time, so don’t fret if your stretch marks don’t disappear right away.

Potato Juice

You can go to almost any store in the entire world and find a potato. Since we aren’t in the middle of a famine, these things are incredibly cheap and you just need one medium potato per remedy. Potatoes contain a ton of vitamins and acids that help reduce stretch marks, although eating too many can cause stretch marks.
Take a potato and cut it into thick slices. If you have more than one problem area, save the other slices because you will need one slice for each area. Make sure the natural juice from the potato stays on the stretch mark for at least five minutes, then you can wash it away.

Lemon Juice

If you read our article about using lemon juice with just about anything to lighten your skin, we’re here to tell you it can remove stretch marks as well. With all of those vitamins and antioxidants, lemons are God’s gift to skin.
Cut one lemon in half, then rub each of the halves onto your problem areas. You should be able to feel that juice soaking into your skin, which may give a slight tingling sensation (which is a good thing because that means it’s working.) Leave the halve there for 10 minutes, then gently wash it away with warm water.

Coco-Shea Butter

Cocoa and Shea butter have been the top sellers for stretch mark removal creams since they hit the shelves ages ago. If you have tried these in store creams and didn’t find success, perhaps the kicked up version that you can make at home will be better suited for your needs.
Take two teaspoons of each butter and one teaspoon of Vitamin E oil. Melt down the butters and mix the three together vigorously like you were Giada. Keep it in a container where it can cool off and turn into a super cream. After bathing, lather this cream onto your stretch marks and watch it melt into your skin.

Egg Whites

There are so many proteins in egg whites that we don’t even have the space to list them all, so we’ll just say there’s over three dozen. You can also find natural collagen in egg whites, which gets rid of scars such as stretch marks— what we’re shooting for here.
Hopefully you know how to separate egg white and yolk at this point, so go ahead and do that first. Once you have, beat down the egg white with a fork, apply it onto your stretch marks. It may smell awful, but leave it there for just 15 minutes. Once you have suffered through that quarter hour, it is now safe to wash it away with water.

Alfalfa

Vitamins and amino acids in Alfalfa are known to help repair skin that is either damaged, dead or scarred. Since stretch marks are a form of scars, Alfalfa is just what the doctor ordered.
You will need one teaspoon of the powdered form of Alfalfa and a couple drops of chamomile oil. Mix the two together so that you get a nice thick paste forming, then rub this paste over your stretch marks. You can do this up to three times each day, and let it sit for 15 minutes each instance. This remedy won’t leave behind a big mess and won’t smell anywhere near as powerful as the egg whites.

Water

Now, you are probably thinking that you shower or take a bath everyday, so why do you still have stretch marks? Well, the water we are recommending here isn’t for the outside, it’s for the inside. If you drink about a gallon of water every day, your skin will be hydrated enough to regain some of the elasticity that it was lacking when the stretch marks first appeared.
Many of these treatments won’t work in the first place if your body is not getting enough water. A lack of hydration can cause your skin to dry out, which will lead to stretch marks even if you haven’t gained any weight. Doctors recommend 8 glasses of water a day, but you should be shooting for 10 to 12 if you are trying to get rid of stretch marks. Saturated skin is the best kind of skin.

Healthy Eating

The same rule of water is also applied when it comes to eating. Think of it this way, a lot of stretch marks are caused by a poor diet, weight gain and lack of water. If you are eating foods that are high in vitamins and protein, your skin is going to recover much faster.
If you are looking for foods that are going to help you in the war against stretch marks, then you should be eating more yogurts, nuts, fish, fruits, vegetables and basically everything that is good for you. It may not taste the same as a Big Mac, but if you want to get rid of those stretch marks right now, it’s definitely worth it. Make sure to avoid saturated fats at all costs, since these are the leading culprits of stretch marks.
So now that you are armed with knowledge, go ahead and give these natural ways to get rid of stretch marks a try. You should see your skin bounce back to it’s normal and healthy glow within no time, scar free!

CALCIUM RICH FOODS FOR VEGETARIANS

Calcium is essential for maintaining strong bones and teeth. It also helps regulate blood pressure. The body can get calcium from one of two sources: food or bones. When food fails to meet your body’s calcium requirements, it borrows it from your bones. If this happens over a period of time then it leads to bone loss. Though meat, poultry and fish are very good sources but they are not the only sources of calcium.

Vegetarians can get calcium from many sources including :-

Dairy
Milk, curd and cheese are rich sources of calcium. Milk has calcium in a form that can be easily digested and absorbed by the body. Curd and cheese are also loaded with calcium. You can add cheese to your salads or have it in cooked form.

Oranges
One orange has up to 60 mg of calcium. Oranges are not only rich in calcium but also contain vitamin D that is essential to absorb the calcium in the body. Have an orange as a mid-morning  or evening snack.

Dates
Dates are rich sources of calcium, iron and fiber. Each date contains around 15 mg of calcium. Add 4-5 dates to a glass of milk or have them as a mid-day snack.

Almonds
Almonds are high on protein which means they keep you full for longer. Almonds are also loaded with vitamin E and calcium. Each nut gives about 70-80 mg of calcium. So, chew on just a handful of nuts to get a boost of calcium.

White Beans
White bean refers to any bean that is white or off-white in color. Half a cup of these beans can give you as much as 100 mg of calcium. So have a bowl of boiled beans 2-3 times a week to get your dose of calcium

Figs
Figs are rich sources of calcium and iron. Moreover, they have very high fiber content. You can have figs when they are in season or buy them in dried form and add them to your breakfast cereals, salads or smoothies.

Broccoli
Broccoli offers high levels of immune system-boosting vitamin C , bone-strengthening vitamin K, and folate, which plays a strategic role in regulating cell growth and reproduction.100 grams of this wonder vegetable can give you 47 mg of calcium.

Skin lightening home remedies

Dark skin can be caused by many different things, from too much sunlight to smoking cigarettes, your skin gets dull fairly easily. If you don’t want your skin to resemble that of a used glove, you can use natural solutions to help brighten it. Now, there are many unnatural ways to lighten your skin, but they are expensive and most of them don’t even work. Nobody wants to throw money away on stuff that doesn’t work, especially in these days of frugality.

These natural ways are sure to have your skin glowing as if you were about to ascend into heaven.. So what are the best natural ways in which you can lighten your skin? We found that are sure to help you out .
Yogurt
Yogurt, in most cases, is meant to be eaten, but did you know you can rub it on yourself to get naturally glowing skin? It seems odd, but it actually works. Yogurt has many vitamins and nutrients that are good for the skin.
Yogurt also contains lactic acid, which does similar work to that of skin bleaching. Once a day, you should delicately rub yogurt onto your skin. Not the type that has fruit in it, just plain old yogurt.

After 60 seconds, you can wash it off with warm water and you should see a change in just a few weeks. To increase the effect and make it easier to apply, add a little lemon juice into the yogurt.

Oranges

In the days of the pirates, the main concern with Vitamin C was scurvey. Since nobody gets scurvy anymore, we have an abundance of Vitamin C to use on our skin. You can eat oranges and drink orange juice to enhance your skin, but applying it directly to your skin is the most effective method.
To do this, leave an unused orange peel out to dry. Once it has dried up, grind that skin into a powder and mix it with a tablespoon of plain yogurt to make a super skin remedy. Let it sit on your skin for 15 minutes or so and wash it off with water. You should limit this remedy to once a week in most cases.

Gram Flour

Gram flour contains nutrients that can enhance your skin and complexion, and it can also remove the oils that cause your skin to darken. Gram flour can be used more often than the oranges remedy at three to four times per week, depending on how it is working for you. It’s pretty simple to use, too!

Just mix some gram flour with a bit of water so that it forms into a nice chunky paste. Then, lather it onto your face, legs and hands to get the full effect. Once dries up, you will feel a strange sensation— this means that its time to wash it off with water. You can expect to see glowing results in just a couple of weeks.

Honey

Honey is not only good for the throat, but it’s also great for the skin. Perhaps one of the most well known home remedies, honey moisturizes your skin to enhance your complexion. Honey never goes bad thanks to having antibacterial properties. When honey is applied to the skin, these same antibacterial properties help get rid of scars and other spots you don’t want lingering around.

Just rub some honey onto your face once a day and leave it there for just a couple of minutes. Wash it off when you are ready. The effects are quick to show, as some of the dead and flaky skin will come off on your wash cloth. As an added bonus, you will smell amazing, but just make sure to stay away from bears.

Lemons

Much like oranges, lemons contain a natural acid and Vitamin C, which helps with the growth of skin cells. Lemons also contain antioxidants that are good for both your internal organs and your skin. Before applying lemons, ensure that you have no open cuts or wounds (or it is going to hurt like hell.)
Just dab a cotton ball into some lemon juice and place it on your face for one hour (the juice, not the cotton ball). You can do this once a day. You will soon see some of the scars on your face vanish, as well as a brighter tone emerging. If you have a weird thing about cotton balls (which a lot of people do), you can just rub a cut lemon on your face instead.

Aloe Vera

When you get a sunburn, the first thing you probably do is grab a bottle of aloe vera. Aloe Vera helps peel away the burn and restore your skin to its natural color. The thing about aloe vera is that you don’t need a sunburn to get some great effects on your skin, so keep it handy year round.

Twice a day, apply aloe vera gel onto your skin for 30 minutes at a time. This may seem excessive, but you only need to do this for two weeks before you’ll see the full effect. If you use this remedy in the winter, you’ll get that beautiful natural glow long before the summer months roll around.

Papaya

Papayas are frequently used in many different treatments at spas. Due to the insane amount of nutrients and the natural ability to lighten skin, papayas are indeed a superfood. Just eating one Papaya can help wipe away some of the grease and oxidants that cause your skin to look dull.
The best way to get the direct effect of the Papaya is to take the inside of the skin and rub it over your face. Once you let the papaya dry on your face, wash it off with chilled water and dab dry with a towel. Much like the other remedies on this list, you can combine it with lemon juice to create a good paste for your skin. We sure do love lemon juice paste around here.

Turmeric

It is from the same family as ginger. Instead of using turmeric as a spice on your food, use it as a spice on your skin. Turmeric deters bacteria and other nasty little germs that can find their way onto skin. It also helps raise your melanin levels to give your skin a natural tone.
We’re going to make another paste, but this time mix some turmeric with milk cream. After you apply the paste onto your skin, let it dry before washing it away with warm water. Do this once per day for three weeks, and you will see your skin brighten quickly. You can also mix turmeric with gram flour and lemon juice to make a jack of all trades mask for your face that you can wear for 20 minutes.

Cucumber

Many of us know collagen as the stuff that people get injected into their lips for increased plumpness. Instead of that unnatural method, a natural form of collagen will help your skin stay firm and light. Cucumbers are a great source of natural collagen.
Take a couple of slices of cucumber and place them over any area of your skin that is too dark. The most popular method is to place them over the eyes, which gives an amazing cooling sensation. Do this twice a day for 15 minutes intervals until you see how much your skin has improved.

Oatmeal

Dead skin can accumulate on your body for too long, which is one of the leading causes of a dull appearance. That stuff that you eat for breakfast when you’re on a diet or have nothing else left in the fridge is the best way to get rid of dead skin. That’s right, oatmeal is one of the best natural exfoliants that you can find in the world.
You should actually mix your oatmeal with tomato juice. You may smell a bit odd for a little while, but it will be worth it. Once a day, leave the paste on your skin for about 15 to 20 minutes, then gently rub it off with cool water. You have to gently rub off the oatmeal in order for it to take the dead skin off with it.
Now you are armed with 10 different skin lightening home remedies, which will make you feel and look better. If one remedy doesn’t work specifically for you, try another one out. You are sure to find the perfect one for your skin.

Scientific Reasons - You Should Never Skip Breakfast

Mornings can feel rushed in almost every household, and when the clock is ticking it’s easy to focus only on the absolute necessities. Once backpacks and briefcases are packed and everyone’s out the door, you may just grab a cup of coffee and hit the road. There are compelling reasons to add breakfast to your short list of morning necessities, however; below are the top five.

It lowers your risk of diabetes

The link between skipping breakfast and developing diabetes is mentioned in many research studies. The National Institutes of Medicine notes that eating breakfast is important for regulating your appetite during the rest of the day. Furthermore, over time this eating pattern can lead to insulin sensitivity, type-2 diabetes and high blood pressure, according to epidemiology researchers. The message? Don’t skip breakfast.

It’s important for heart health

A regular habit of skipping breakfast is shown to increase the risk of serious coronary heart disease by 27%, according to an important study by Harvard School of Public Health. The scientists examined the habits of over 26,000 men for 16 years, and they found a significant link between skipping breakfast and the incidence of heart attacks and deaths from cardiac problems. This linkage held up even after the researchers eliminated other risk factors such as smoking, overall nutrition, and physical activity.

Protein in the morning helps you avoid junk food

While eating any sort of breakfast will make you feel less hungry and more
satisfied through the morning, a high-protein breakfast will extend these benefits
throughout the entire day. An interesting article in Atlantic describes research in
which people who ate a protein-rich breakfast of eggs, meat and/or yogurt were
less likely to indulge in fatty snacks during the following evening. Special
electronic testing showed that the brain-centers associated with cravings
remained less active in these test subjects, so it was easier for them to “just say
no.”

Breakfast supports an active lifestyle

People who eat breakfast simply have more physical energy, which leads them to get more exercise. Scientists in England found that breakfast-eating releases signals into the blood stream that indicate the availability of energy, motivating people to naturally become more active. So don’t skip breakfast.

Breakfast helps you pay attention

There’s a reason why many schools offer their students the option of eating breakfast at school. Nutritionists have long been in agreement that eating a morning meal is crucial to a person’s ability to concentrate and learn, regardless of age. Blood sugar levels are low after the night-time, and a breakfast that features whole grains, proteins and high-fiber foods will sustain the steady blood glucose levels that our brains need in order to perform.
Taking good care of your health is often just a matter of clarifying your priorities. With a bit of pre-planning, you can stir a quick high-protein breakfast into your busy morning mix, and benefit your family’s lifelong health with each new day.
Good Morning………….
Have A Nice Day……….
